Mayor Bowser to Highlight DC’s Innovative Use of Technology in Public Safety

(WASHINGTON, DC) – Tomorrow at 10 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will join Administration officials to discuss the innovative use of technology to support the Safer, Stronger DC plan. The Metropolitan Police Department collaborated with the Office of Chief Technology Officer and the Office of Cable Television, Film, Music and Entertainment to implement various tools and technologies that will advance public safety efforts, and protect and respect the values of DC residents.

A comprehensive public safety agenda that was introduced in August 2015, the Bowser Administration created Safer Stronger DC to provide tools and resources that will bring more stability, opportunities, and resources to protect neighborhoods in Washington, DC.
