The second Contractors Forum was hosted by DDOT and Pepco on September 18, 2014.  DDOT and Pepco presented detailed information on the undergrounding strategy, as proposed in the Triennial Plan. The DDOT and Pepco presentations review civil construction and electric system installation requirements for the 21 feeders designated for undergrounding in the 2015 – 2017 implementation period.

The discussion included procurement planning issues that are being considered by DDOT and Pepco. Contractor registration and certification was also discussed, to support “business-readiness” for procurement.
