DDOT and Pepco are committed to engaging District businesses and other qualified contractors with pertinent project planning information on DC PLUG.  Contractors and Suppliers Forums have been organized and jointly hosted by DDOT and Pepco to inform perspective contractors about the DC PLUG initiative and potential opportunities. This outreach effort is also designed to foster teaming and collaboration between businesses interested in DC PLUG contracting. The success of DC PLUG is based on strategic partnerships of qualified and capable organizations that work together to improve the electric system and service reliability for customers in the District.

Presentations delivered by Pepco and DDOT encompass preliminary planning for the engineering and construction of the electric and civil facilities for the power line undergrounding initiative.
