As the Council of the District of Columbia reconvenes following its summer recess, Mayor Muriel Bowser will announce a supplemental budget for the 2015 Fiscal Year. As part of her supplemental budget, Mayor Bowser will propose funding several key initiatives, including a new job training program for young District residents ages 20-24, additional funding for the District’s LEAP Academy that was launched earlier this year, and investments that will make the District safer and stronger.
