Mayor Bowser to Announce Preliminary Public School Enrollment Numbers for 2019-20 School Year

(Washington, DC) – On Tuesday, October 22, at 2:30 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser will visit MacFarland Middle School in Ward 4 to announce the District’s preliminary public school enrollment numbers and highlight growth and investments at DC Public Schools (DCPS) and public charter schools. Coming into the 2019-20 School Year, enrollment numbers for public schools in the District have increased for 10 consecutive years, reaching 93,016 students in School Year 2018-19.
