Mayor Bowser to Celebrate $25M Streetscape Project at 11th Annual Potholepalooza Kickoff

(Washington, DC) On Monday, March 25, at 11:30 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will kick off the first Potholepalooza of her second term, as part of her annual spring campaign to expedite the repair of potholes in the District.

At this event, the Mayor will break ground on the $25M Maryland Avenue, NE Streetscape Project, demonstrating her Vision Zero commitment to eliminating transportation-related fatalities and enhancing overall mobility safety in the District by 2024.

The Maryland Avenue Streetscape Project will improve safety for pedestrians, bicyclists and motorists on the Maryland Avenue, NE corridor between 2ndand 14th Street NE.
