Mayor Bowser to Celebrate Marvin Gaye Day with Ribbon Cutting On Marvin Gaye Recreation Center

(Washington, DC) – On Saturday, May 5, at 4 pm, in honor of the singer, songwriter and DC native, Marvin Gaye, Mayor Muriel Bowser and members of the Marvin Gaye family will celebrate Marvin Gaye Day with a ribbon cutting on the Marvin Gaye Recreation Center.
 
The event will feature a #FITDC Marvin Gaye Trail Bike Ride in partnership with Capital Bikeshare, music, food trucks and more for the community to enjoy.
