Mayor Bowser to Highlight #FairShot Budget Investments to Bring Back Jobs for DC Residents

(Washington, DC) – On Monday, June 14, at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will highlight investments in her Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 budget proposal that spur job growth for residents and ensure the District attracts new, high-growth companies. The Mayor’s #FairShot FY22 budget proposal includes robust investments in business attraction and retention, employment, on-the-job training, skill training, and career navigation to set the District up for a strong recovery and support the residents and businesses that were hit the hardest by the pandemic.
