(Washington, DC) – On Tuesday, April 2, at 6 pm, members of the media are invited to join Mayor Muriel Bowser for a store preview and ribbon cutting at one of Target’s newest Washington, D.C. small-format stores in Shepherd Park at Georgia Ave. and Eastern Ave. NW 

The store is one of two new small-format Target stores that will grand open in the District on April 7, creating more than 100 new jobs. The other store is located in Cleveland Park at 3505 Connecticut Ave. NW. At the event, Target store leaders will provide guided media tours of the 31,000-square-foot Georgia and Eastern Ave. store, located at 7828 Georgia Ave. NW.
