- On Monday, Mayor Bowser will announce a year of historic investments in affordable housing at the groundbreaking of Delta Towers, an affordable senior housing building comprised of 179 residential units and retail.
- On Wednesday, Mayor Bowser will provide welcoming remarks at The Atlantic Festival, attend the DC One Kickoff, and break ground on the Early Childhood Academy Public Charter School in Ward 8. Over the last 13 years, Early Childhood Academy PCS has operated as one school in two separate community centers. This project will bring the Early Childhood Academy PCS under one roof through the combined rehabilitation of an abandoned church and the construction of a new 30,000 square foot modern addition.
- On Thursday, Mayor Bowser will host a lunch for the displaced residents from the Arthur Capper Senior Apartments, reuniting them with some of the #DCBravest from DC Fire and EMS, the Marine Barracks and other members of the community who helped during the fire.
- On Saturday, Mayor Bowser will attend the 32nd Annual Calvin Coolidge Alumni Association Scholarship Awards Breakfast to recognize alumni of the high school who have been successful in community service and in their chosen professions, and to raise money for scholarships for the graduating seniors. Later, the Mayor will attend the Rhode Island Main Street Fall Fest, which will showcase a full day of shopping, food, and family-friendly entertainment.
