Mayor Bowser to Kick Off ‘innoMAYtion’

Third Annual Month-Long Initiative to Showcase Ideas from Local Entrepreneurs and Innovators

(WASHINGTON, DC) – On Thursday, May 4, at 6:15 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser will kick off innoMAYtion, a month-long initiative to showcase groundbreaking programs that will create jobs, engage DC residents, and position Washington, DC as a global model for innovation. As part of the kick off, the Mayor will make major announcements on programs and investment opportunities that will continue to make DC a national leader in tech and inclusive innovation.
Entering in its third year, innoMAYtion will highlight four themes: Impact Economy, Smart Cities and Civic Solution, Youth in STEM and Entrepreneurship, and Women in STEM and Entrepreneurship. Events throughout the month will focus on key priorities from the Bowser Administration such as education, technology, small businesses, and the creative economy.
