(BEIJING, CHINA) – Today at 8 am Eastern Standard Time/ 9 pm China Standard Time, Mayor Muriel Bowser hosted a video conference from Beijing with her senior leadership team in the District. Participants from Beijing included Chief of Staff John Falcicchio and Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development Brian Kenner. District officials including City Administrator Rashad Young, Deputy City Administrator Kevin Donahue, Senior Advisor Beverly Perry and Director of the Mayor’s Office of Legal Counsel Mark Tuohey participated from the John A. Wilson Building.

Mayor Bowser received updates on District government activities ranging from public safety to education. The Mayor will convene another video conference with her leadership team on Thursday at 8 am Eastern Standard Time/ 9 pm China Standard Time.
