On Saturday, Mayor Muriel Bowser will attend the grand opening of Little Caesar’s Pizza in Ward 8. After, Mayor Bowser will join the Department of Parks and Recreation in hosting a baseball clinic and barbeque for kids and families as part of “Play Ball,” an initiative of the United States Conference of Mayors (USCM) and Major League Baseball (MLB). In the evening, Mayor Bowser will deliver remarks at the 1st Annual Chuck Brown Day event to celebrate the birthday of the late Chuck Brown, the Godfather of Go Go.
